As detailed below, I have been in the green industry, educationally and professionally, for over 30 years.  I had a organic landscape business, with seminars and consultation services, in Long Island, NY for two years.  I have recently moved back to San Diego, after 24 years on the east coast.  Delta-nine.net is a result of my interest in cannabis fused with my background and experience.  D9, my accomplice, has been a good friend for over 30 years.  His experiences, ideas, and views will be an important part of this endeavor.

I have been working with plants for as long as I can remember.  Not because of an agricultural or botanical upbringing, but rather by chance and life directions.  I've always loved science classes, chemistry and biology kits, geology and rock collections, etc.  Between interest in cannabis and a mushroom species or two, I was reading books on plant biochemistry, botany, and mycology for entertainment.  When a career change imminent (I spent over ten years in restaurant business), a degree in Botany seemed the only logical choice. I received my B.S. in Botany from San Diego State University.  I took a three year hiatus from school then got my M.S. from Louisiana Tech in one year, then went back to my original stomping grounds and got a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from The Ohio State University.  My professional experiences have been in product development (formulations) of organic and natural product pest control materials.  I am a STRONG advocate of organic pest control, or more specifically, holistic pest control practices.  My interests are diverse, sometimes to a detriment.  Photography and computer hardware/sofware are my hobbies.  At least they started as hobbies.  At the current time I offer custom services/consultations in both areas.

Hello and welcome to our new web site. We are very excited to launch this and hope to become a regular stop for you.  We are here to help with any questions you may have about Medical Marijuana.  We look forward to a range of questions, from growing to medicating to how or why it does what it does.  We will give pointers on things like how to roll a joint, vaporizer ABCs, etc.  And of course we will have reviews of different strains, intense photos, and other cannabis tidbits. With each selection we will take great care to give you honest evaluations that can assist you in your search for the meds that work best for you. We want you to be involved in this site, so if you have any suggestions or comments please send them along to us.  All suggestions will receive serious thought.  As things take off we will be adding many new things for your enjoyment. 

My life in San Diego started in 1970 when I fell for this place and never left.  I, like many others, came here initially while in the navy.  After my discharge I never left.  After my discharge I re-discovered the joy of bicycling, to the ecxtent that I made it my career choice.  As a result, I had been involved in the bicycle industry for close to 30 yrs. I am also an avid fisherman. I have been fishing since I was a very young child.  Living here in San Diego for about 40 years now has been the best part of my life.  I am blessed with 3 children and 4 grandchildren.  I have been a medical marijuana patient for many years and feel it has been of great help to me.  I hope I can be of help to others who are looking for info.   Not many people were able to offer me advice at the time I needed it and I hope to make the transition easier for others in similar situations.
